Direct to Consumer
More value from the customers you already have.
Cellar Method works through your existing customer database, personally reconnecting with past buyers, reactivating lapsed customers and developing stronger private-client relationships.
Every conversation is consultative, considered and designed to protect the winery’s brand.

Your database is an asset.
Cellar doors, online sales, events and wine clubs create valuable customer databases over time.
But for many independent wineries, those customers are primarily communicated with through email — and many gradually become inactive.
Cellar Method adds a human sales layer.
We speak directly with customers, understand what they enjoy and identify genuine opportunities to reconnect them with the winery.
Four simple steps.
Understand
We learn the wines, customer base and available stock.
Select
Together we identify the most relevant customers and segments.
Converse
Luke personally contacts customers and has genuine, consultative wine conversations.
Develop
We generate orders, identify future opportunities and return useful customer insight to the winery.
Consultative, not pushy.
The objective is not to work through a list as quickly as possible. Cellar Method approaches each customer as a private-client relationship.
We learn what they drink, what they have previously enjoyed and what might genuinely suit them. If the timing is not right, the conversation can simply continue at a more convenient time.
The customer should finish the interaction feeling better connected to the winery — whether or not they purchase that day.

Value beyond the first order.
- Reactivated customers
- Incremental wine sales
- Repeat purchasing
- Wine club opportunities
- Better customer information
- Stronger private-client relationships

One or two pre-Christmas campaigns.
Cellar Method is currently selecting one or two wineries for campaigns running between late October and early December 2026, depending on database size and campaign requirements.
The intention is to work with a very small number of producers and personally manage every customer conversation.
Common questions.
How long does a campaign run?
Typically 4–6 weeks, depending on the size and quality of the database and the amount of follow-up required.
Will customers know Cellar Method is involved?
The exact customer-facing setup is agreed with the winery before the campaign. The objective is always to represent the winery naturally and professionally.
Who speaks to our customers?
Luke Langton personally manages and delivers every current Cellar Method campaign.
Does the winery retain its customers and sales?
Yes. The winery retains ownership of its database, controls pricing and stock, processes payment and fulfils orders.
Next step
More value from the relationships you’ve already built.
Your customer database represents years of cellar-door visits, online purchases, events and conversations.
Cellar Method helps reconnect those customers with the winery in a considered, personal way — creating opportunities for repeat purchasing, private-client relationships and longer-term loyalty.
